Diego Lanza is Senior Specialist for Whisky at Bonhams New Bond Street in London. His areas of expertise include Scotch and world whiskies, old and rare spirits such as old Cognac and Rum, and also Chartreuse from the late 1800s to present date.

Before joining Bonhams in 2021, Diego was the Old & Rare Spirits Manager for The Whisky Exchange Shop and its parent company, Speciality Drinks Group; consultant for Whisky.Auction online auctioneers and other leading spirits auctions across the UK, USA, and Hong Kong.

Diego was responsible for Davidoff of London cigar shop's 40th anniversary Glenrothes 1980 single cask whisky bottling - from liquid selection to packaging, he combined his whisky expertise with another great passion of his: fine Cuban cigars.

Diego is fluent in Italian and English. He regularly travels to Europe, mostly Italy and France, for business enquiries.
