ABC, 1978-1983. A group of material from the series Taxi, comprising seven television scripts written by David Lloyd, bound in Paramount Pictures wrappers, including the episodes "Jim Gets a Pet" (1979), "Zena's Honeymoon" (1982), and "Louie Moves Uptown" (1982). Together with a framed Emmy Award® Nomination Certificate for David Lloyd for the episode "Elaine's Strange Triangle" (1980); a framed photograph of the closing title sequence shot that reads 'Executive Story Editor DAVID LLOYD'; and a Taxi wristwatch.
Scripts: 11 x 8 1/2 in.

Footnotes

The gritty sitcom Taxi centered around the lives of New York City cab drivers at the Sunshine Cab Company. With an all-star cast that included Danny DeVito, Tony Danza, and Andy Kaufman, the show was a critical success winning 18 Emmy Awards® over the span of five seasons. Writer David Lloyd was personally nominated for an Emmy® for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy Series for his work on the show.
