Shanshan Ge

Shanshan Ge is a Specialist in the Jewellery Department at Bonhams, based in Knightsbridge, London. She is responsible for valuations and securing consignments for three tiers of jewellery auctions in London. Her key areas of interest include 20th century signed jewels by leading heritage jewellers, such as Cartier, Boucheron, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, and certificated rubies, sapphires, emeralds and diamonds by SSEF, Gübelin and GIA.

Prior to joining Bonhams, Shanshan has worked in both the retail industry and various auction houses, specialising in fine jewellery and luxury Swiss watches. She is a qualified gemmologist, having graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in London. Shanshan is also a member of the Society of Jewellery Historians.

Shanshan is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
