Mick OConnell

Mick O'Connell MW is the Head of Wine for UK & Continental Europe, based in London.

Mick brings more than two decades of experience from all sides of the wine trade, from Head Buyer at Ireland's largest importer to Head of Retail at a London wine merchant, judging committee member at IWSC to award winning wine columnist with the Business Post, he also was a garagiste producer on the island of Sardinia. Mick became a Master of Wine in 2016 wining the Villa Maria award for excellence in the Viticulture paper.

As Head of Wine for UK & Continental Europe, Mick will oversee Bonhams' Wine and Spirits operations and spearhead growth strategies in the regions.
