Emilie Jolly

Émilie Jolly is Head of African & Oceanic Art at Bonhams Cornette de Saint Cyr. Together with Tim Teuten, a London-based consultant, she launched the African and Oceanic Art department for Europe at Cornette de Saint Cyr in July 2024, overseeing two auctions annually in Paris. Émilie began her career at the German auction house Lempertz in Brussels in 2016. By 2017, she was actively collaborating with their African and Oceanic Art department. Beyond organizing numerous successful auctions of African and Oceanic art and serving as an auctioneer, Émilie contributed to three highly acclaimed exhibitions in Brussels: Pierre Dartevelle: 50 Years of Collecting (2018), Ancestral Visions: Papua New Guinea Art from the Sepik Ramu (2019), and Polynesian Art (2023). In 2021, alongside her efforts to develop the African and Oceanic Art department, she also took on the responsibility of managing the Benelux office. Émilie holds Master's degrees in both Philosophy and Management and is fluent in English and French.
