Natalie Voorheis is General Valuer for Bonhams Valuations and Private Collections & House Sales departments in London. She provides valuations for sale, insurance and probate, and also works on collection sales. Her areas of specialism include English and European furniture and silver, and Natalie enjoys the scope for multi-category interest that is afforded by her roles in Valuations and Collection Sales.
Before joining Bonhams in 2021, Natalie was a Specialist for Christie's Private & Iconic Collections and Decorative Arts departments in New York and London. There, she worked on auctions including The Metropolitan Museum sale (2015), The Rockefeller sales (2018) and The Collections of Their Royal Highnesses The Dukes of Gloucester & The Earls of Harewood (2019).
Before moving to the commercial art world, Natalie worked at The Royal Collection Trust and The National Gallery of Ireland. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History and English from University College Dublin and a Master's degree in Decorative Arts and Historic Interiors from The Wallace Collection and the University of Buckingham.
Outside Bonhams, Natalie is involved with the Furniture History Society and has delivered lectures on decorative arts and collecting.
