Mathieu Guyot-Sionnest

Mathieu Guyot-Sionnest is Specialist for Motorcycles and Motorcars at Bonhams in Los Angeles.

Born and raised in Paris, France, Mathieu was introduced to the world of classic vehicles early in life, accompanying his father to various classic car events and races, like Le Mans Classic or Le Tour Auto. When he was finishing his Master's degree in International Business, he decided to open a restoration and preservation motorcycle shop just outside Paris, while racing vintage cars at various events in Europe and hunting collectable vehicles for private clients. After moving to Los Angeles in 2017, Mathieu started writing for various vintage automobile and motorcycle websites, sourcing classic US-market vehicles for French clients and participating in classic vehicles events.

Joining Bonhams in 2019, Mathieu led the US Motorcycles department and brought to auction important vehicles including a 1955 Arnolt-Bristol Bolide and a 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha.

Mathieu regularly travels back to Europe to participate in vintage car races and events with his father and brother, and regularly participates in vintage motorcycle races in the US.
