Keason Tang started work at Bonhams New Bond Street in 2018, and since January 2019 has relocated to the Hong Kong office, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining relations with key collectors and dealers in Greater China.
Keason successfully handled the sale of Collection of Feng Wen Tan - A Selection of Works of Buddhist Art in his earlier career, as well as the Ollivier Collection of Early Chinese Art after joining Bonhams. Keason's specialism is archaic Chinese bronze and antique guqin, and he also has a strong interest in Chinese lacquer and scholarly objects.
Keason holds a degree of B. Soc. Sc with honors from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a MA of Archeology and History of Art from SOAS University of London. He is a native Mandarin speaker, also fluent in English, Cantonese and Japanese.
