Nathalie Jordan

Nathalie Jordan is Head of Bonhams Jewelry department in Scotland. She previously worked in London for several years for Sotheby's in both London and Geneva, before joining Bonhams two years ago. She now curates the biannual jewelry sales which take place in the Edinburgh saleroom, as well as acquiring business for the jewelry sales held at both New Bond Street and Knightsbridge.

During her tenure at Bonhams, Nathalie has witnessed the sale of the largest collection of Andrew Grima jewels to come to auction, as well as the sale of a five-carat fancy pink diamond in September 2018 for £2,228,750.

Having completed her undergraduate and post graduate degrees at The University of St Andrews in History of Art and History of Photography respectively, Nathalie decided to pursue her love for jewels and gemmology by completing her F.G.A. qualification (Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain) in London. She gained a distinction for her dissertation entitled From mine to market: Notable pink diamonds and trends at auction in recent years.

In particular, Nathalie has a strong interest in jewels from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods, as well as jewels with noble provenance.
