Thomas Seaman is a Specialist for 19th Century Paintings at Bonhams New Bond Street in London, working on the twice yearly 19th Century Paintings sale and the annual Orientalist Art sale.

After studying Ancient History at the University of Nottingham, Thomas joined Bonhams in 2015 and, for number of years, worked in the Knightsbridge Picture department, going on to become Head of Sale for the three British and European Art sales a year. The varied nature of these sales meant exposure to a wide range of artists – from early British watercolourists to 20th century European painters – though Thomas has a particular interest in sporting art, especially angling subjects.
