Since joining Bonhams, Sara has sourced many interesting and valuable items of jewelry, including a collection of Cartier jewels with royal connections which realized £100K including a sapphire and diamond clip which sold for £42,240; a Kutchinsky coral, onyx and diamond necklace which sold for £13,000; a Bulgari Monete necklace which achieved £51,200 inc. premium and an early 20th Century Sapphire and diamond ring which sold above estimate at £19,840.
Other highlights that Sara has recently sourced from the region are a 22 carat gold and diamond moon sculpture commemorating the Apollo 11 moon landing, sold for £40,250, and a rare miniature William IV silver fishing reel, sold for £12,112.
Sara has over 20 years of experience in the auction industry. She holds a degree in Art History from the University of Leeds and gained her professional qualifications from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain at the Birmingham School of Jewelry.
