Sherri Cohen is a Bonhams Vice President and Director of the Valuations, Trusts and Estates Department. Since joining Bonhams in 2016, Cohen has brought several important collections to market including that of L. D. 'Brink' Brinkman, The Estate of Robert Osborne and the Sally S. Miller Trust.

Cohen is a US and UK qualified attorney with decades of art market experience. She works with fiduciaries to develop creative strategies to value and sell all kinds of property from fine art and Asian art to jewelry and rare books.

She is a member of several professional organizations including the Estate Planning Council of New York City, Inc. (member Board of Directors), STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners); PAIAM (Professional Advisors to the International Art Market), New York-Historical Society (member Planned Giving Advisory Council) and Emory College (member Alumni Board).

Before joining Bonhams, Cohen underwrote art insurance, handled Nazi-looted art cases and was an associate at a top international law firm. She earned a BA in Art History and Political Science from Emory University and a JD from American University.
