Michael Caimano is a Collector's Motorcar Specialist, based at Bonhams Los Angeles.

His achievements at Bonhams include setting the current world record for the most valuable post- 1970 vehicle ever sold at auction with a single-owner 1995 McLaren F1 that achieved $15,620,000. He also spearheaded the sale of Carroll Shelby's personal car collection which set numerous world records for a wide range of makes and models and sold a 1985 Ferrari 288 GTO and a 1990 Ferrari F40. both of which had remained with their original owner from new. Michael also led the sale of the Mead collection at which six Porsche world records were set - two of which were a 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S that achieved $489,000, and a 1989 Porsche 930 Turbo slant nose cabriolet that achieved $456,000, making it the most expensive Porsche 930 to ever sell at auction.

Michael has a Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from Quinnipiac University, and a Business Administration and Management degree from Macquarie University. Prior to Bonhams he worked in both the technology and retail industries.
