Luke Batterham is a Specialist in Books, Maps, Manuscripts and Historical Photographs, based at Bonhams Knightsbridge. The son of an antiquarian bookseller, Luke joined Bonhams as a senior valuer within the books and manuscripts department in 1993, having previously gained experience working with various dealers, including Ben Weinreb Architectural Books, Henry Sotherans and Sam Fogg.

Luke has been instrumental in consigning and cataloging a diverse range of important single-owner properties. In recent years these have included: Sylvia and Ted Hughes. The Property of Ted Hughes; Robert Frost, Edward Thomas, and the Dymock Poets; The Property of the Descendants of Jack Haines; Ashendene Press collection of the late Catherine G. Hornby; The Library of the Late Hugh Selbourne, M.D.; and the Angling library of Alan Jarvis.
