Charlie Thomas, Director of the House Sale and Private Collections Department, started at Bonhams in the Furniture and Works of Art Department in 2002 and became Head of Department in 2006 before joining House Sales and Private Collections. He has overseen many of the single owner sales at Bonhams including, The Savoy, Cafe Royal, Chateau Montfort, The Chelsea Collection of Severin Wunderman, The Contents of Lord Glenconner's St Lucian Property, the Contents of Trelissick House in Cornwall, The Contents of Count and Countess Martignone's Milanese and Genoese Properties and Hooton Pagnell Hall. He also played a key role with the cataloguing and selling of the highly successful Owston Collection sold in Sydney Australia.

Charlie is a Director of Bonhams UK Board and auctioneer.
