May's highlights at Bonhams have included promoting and selling one of the earliest known depictions of a football game by Alexander Carse (c1770-1843) in 2006, for a hammer price of £240,000, and more recently consigning a beautiful still life by Scottish Colourist John Duncan Fergusson RBA (1874-1961), which sold for £60,000.
