Unique Collection of Eight Orange Aston Martins Offered Without Reserve at Bonhams|Cars Zoute Sale

Bonhams|Cars will offer The Orange Collection – an extraordinary array of eight Aston Martins in the most striking hue of tangerine orange at the Zoute Sale on October 8. Aston Martin Lagonda Limited received a special commission from a private gentleman for the company's road going production range of their 2010 models. Each motor car is liveried in a bespoke special-order shade of Orange with matching leather interior. They are to Swiss specifications, effectively delivery mileage and will be offered entirely without reserve. The collection is expected to realise over half a million euros.

Leading the Collection are two DBS models: the open-top Volante and the Coupe, each of which are estimated at €80,000 – 120,000. The last lot offered will be the four-door Rapide estimated at €40,000 – 60,000.

The collection draws immediate comparison to the famous Hunter Green Collection of late 1980s Aston Martin V8s that Bonhams|Cars sold at Newport Pagnell some 15 years ago, and today those cars are held in high esteem.

"This is a truly incredible and bespoke offering and I envisage collectors wanting to secure the entire collection with many others trying to win a particular favourite. Whatever the outcome, the new owners will own a unique part of motoring history," remarked Gregory Tuytens, Head of Sale.

The Orange Collection comprises:

• Aston Martin DBS Volante, estimate €80,000 - 120,000
• Aston Martin DBS Coupe, estimate €80,000 - 120,000
• Aston Martin DB9 Volante, estimate €60,000 - 90,000
• Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, estimate €60,000 - 90,000
• Aston Martin V12 Vantage Coupe, estimate €50,000 - 80,000
• Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante, estimate €40,000 - 60,000
• Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe, estimate €40,000 - 60,000
• Aston Martin Rapide Sports-Saloon, estimate €40,000 - 60,000
