A Rare Opportunity to Own a Pair of Tickets to Michael Jordan's 1984 Debut NBA Game
Bonhams' online sports sale features collectibles from the greatest of all time

New York - Michael Jordan, one of the most storied professional athletes of all time, made his historic NBA debut with the Chicago Bulls on October 26,1984. A pair of red and black box office ticket stubs from that night in Chicago Stadium will be offered at auction for the first time at Bonhams' The GOATs: Icons of Sports online sale from September 19 – 29. These particular ticket stubs, which were only available for purchase at the venue, feature the iconic Chicago Bulls logo as well as a silhouette of Chicago Stadium and are estimated at $200,000 - 300,000. This is the first time that a pair of these tickets, the holy grail of basketball ticket collecting, has ever been offered at auction.

The owner of the tickets, a high school junior at the time, attended the game in excitement for the Chicago Bulls' newest member who could potentially elevate the underperforming team. Going up against the Washington Bullets, that night Jordan scored 16 points with 6 rebounds and 7 assists, a successful start for the team's first round draft pick. He would go on to compete in 1072 regular season games and 179 playoff games, earning six NBA Championships, Six Finals MVP titles and was Scoring Champion ten times as well as All Defensive Player nine times.

Five unique Paris Saint Germain jerseys signed by the world's best soccer players, Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar Jr. Highlighting the group is Messi's game worn home jersey created specifically for the celebration of the 2022 Chinese New Year and features his name on the back in Mandarin and is boldly signed by Messi in silver ink, estimated at $20,000 – 30,000. The jerseys come to auction directly from Paris Saint Germain in conjunction with the newly opened Paris Saint Germain flagship store in New York City. The proceeds from these lots will be split between the Paris Saint-Germain Endowment Fund - an organization which supports and conducts missions of general interest of a humanitarian, educational, sporting or social nature, with a view to helping young people.

A rare pair of size 15.5, prototype Nike Zoom Soldier VII LeBron James Black History Month sneakers. These purple and black patterned sneakers with a gold swoosh were made to commemorate Black History Month in 2014 and only two of the 23 pairs produced were made in size 15.5 for LeBron James. Estimate: $6,000 – 8,000.

A collection of nine color illustrated tickets from Tom Brady's historic time at the New England Patriots from 2001 and 2002. Brady was drafted by the Patriots in 2000 and would win the first of 6 Super Bowl titles with the team in 2002. Estimate: $5,000 - 7,000.
