IWC Watches Worn by Sporting Greats Lewis Hamilton and Tom Brady Auctioned for Charity at Bonhams
Online Bonhams Sale of Timepieces Worn in Today's Pre-Miami Grand Prix™ IWC Golf Challenge Offered to Raise Funds for Miami-Based Social Sport Program Now Live

Miami, FL- Four IWC Schaffhausen watches worn by sporting legends including seven-time Formula One™ World Champion Lewis Hamilton and seven-time American Football World Champion Tom Brady are to be auctioned in aid of the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, supporting Miami charities, in a dedicated online auction hosted by Bonhams which is now live.

The recently launched IWC TOP GUN timepieces were worn today by the champions in IWC Schaffhausen's The Big Pilot Challenge' golf event hosted at the Miami Beach Golf Club in South Beach, ahead of the inaugural Formula One™ Miami Grand Prix™ on Sunday.

The latest TOP GUN pieces from IWC Schaffhausen are being offered in the Bonhams online sale, along with the players' personal items: Lewis Hamilton's IWC watch is accompanied by a signed pair of his racing shoes, while the Tom Brady IWC watch is offered together with a signed set of Tom's own golf clubs.

The pair, dubbed Team 'Mojave Desert' after the IWC watches they wore, were pitted in the challenge against Team 'Lake Tahoe' - retired American Football running back, Marcus Allen, and Brandon Okpalobi, Founder and CEO respectively of Dibia DREAM, a Miami-based non-profit and the primary beneficiary of the auction.

All four watches worn in the challenge – plus a personal item donated by each player – are on offer in this exclusive digital sale in four separate lots:

2021 Big Pilot's Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Edition "Mojave Desert", Reference: IW503004, worn by seven-time Formula One™ World Champion Lewis Hamilton, together with a pair of Lewis' racing shoes.

A sand-coloured ceramic automatic perpetual calendar pilot's wristwatch with moon phase, one of just 150 produced this year, worn by Lewis Hamilton, with a signed note from the Formula 1™ racing driver. The timepiece is accompanied by a pair of Lewis' Puma Speedcat Pro signed racing shoes as worn during the Bahrain and Saudi Grand Prix 2022.

2021 Big Pilot's Watch TOP GUN Edition 'Mojave Desert', Reference: IW506003, worn by American Football World Champion Tom Brady, together with a set of his personal golf clubs.

The first Big Pilot's Watch to be made in sand-coloured ceramic, with the legendary TOP GUN logo engraved on its titanium case back, this model, with a seven-day power reserve, is limited to just 250 pieces per year.

The watch is accompanied by a signed note from Tom Brady and personal set of Tom's right-handed Callaway Golf Clubs, presented in a golf bag signed by the quarterback.

2022 Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition "Lake Tahoe", Reference: IW389105, worn by retired American footballer Marcus Allen, offered with a signed American football.

Named after Lake Tahoe, the mountainous area between California and Nevada, frequently flown over by the U.S Navy TOPGUN pilots, a white ceramic IWC automatic pilot's chronograph wristwatch, with matching white rubber strap. A model limited to 1,000 pieces per year. Accompanied by a signed note from Marcus Allen and an autographed American football.

BRANDON OKPABLOBI, estimate $15,000 – 50,000
2022 Pilot's Watch Chronograph TOP GUN Edition "Lake Tahoe", Reference: IW389105, worn by Brandon Okpablobi, CEO of Dibia DREAM, together with a miniature car created by children benefitting from the Dibia DREAM program.

As above, a white ceramic IWC automatic pilot's chronograph wristwatch, with matching white rubber strap, named after Lake Tahoe, the mountainous area between California and Nevada, frequently flown over by the U.S Navy TOPGUN pilots. A model limited to 1,000 pieces per year.

Accompanied by a signed note from Brandon and a solar powered miniature car created by children benefiting from the Dibia DREAM program.

The Charity

All proceeds of the four lots will allow Laureus Sport for Good to expand its critical impact on youth in communities in Miami, Florida. The primary beneficiary will be Dibia DREAM, which sparks social change through STEM and recreational education for underserved young people in Miami.
