The Bond Street Sale was the first for the Bonhams UK motor car team to be held as a traditional live auction this year, with a socially distanced audience in the saleroom, and was also livestreamed via bonhams.com and the Bonhams app.

Tim Schofield, Head of Department, Bonhams Motor Cars UK, said: "Today's sale was a welcome return to the live sale format and we were pleased to witness lively bidding from the saleroom as well as from online and telephone bidders.

"The impressive 95 per cent sale rate achieved shows that there is a keen appetite for buying and selling collector's motor cars in the capital."

The Bonhams Motor Cars UK team are currently consigning cars for their return to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed Sale on 9 July.
