Bonhams Motoring Announces October Sale at Goodwood Speedweek
Plans for Aug – Dec 2020 Worldwide Unveiled

Bonhams Goodwood Speedweek Sale will take place on Saturday 17 October at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. It forms part of Goodwood Speedweek – a one-off spectacular event that will run from 16-18 October. An exciting early consignment to the sale is the 1959 Aston Martin DB4 Series I that will be offered for sale at no reserve. It has an estimate of £250,000 - 350,000.

Bonhams Group Motoring Chairman James Knight said: "As a founding partner to the Goodwood Estate, Bonhams is proud to support Speedweek by presenting a prestigious sale of Collectors' Motor Cars. While enthusiasts everywhere were disappointed by the unavoidable cancellation of this year's events at Goodwood, we are delighted to be back at the circuit. Early indications are really promising, we have received committed support from clientele and have already consigned some important motor cars that will soon be revealed. On behalf of the motoring fraternity, we would like to express our gratitude for the tireless effort by the Duke of Richmond and his Goodwood team to create Speedweek which will be a weekend to remember."

The Bonhams Sale will be held on Saturday 17 October, with viewing by appointment from Wednesday to Saturday at Goodwood's 'Earls Court Motor Show' building. For those who cannot attend in person, virtual, real-time condition reports will be available via Bonhams Preview. As ever, all lots will be fully catalogued in print and online.
The sale will be live-streamed to a worldwide audience of bidders, and auctioneers will take bids from around the world via telephone, online and by commission bids, supplemented by online bidding aggregators. Video content will be streamed live, giving bidders a detailed look at the motor cars during the auction.

Speedweek itself will take place at the Goodwood Motor Circuit 16-18 October 2020, and the one-off spectacular will celebrate the greatest elements of both the Festival of Speed and Revival. In the words of the organisers, "Nothing quite like Speedweek has been seen before – Goodwood will bring more than a century of world class motorsport and motoring together to celebrate the past, present and future of mobility through legendary feats of speed, courage and endurance."
Bonhams Motoring division has also revealed their plans for the rest of 2020.
