Private Cellars with Distinguished Provanance Lead Bonhams Fine Wine Sale

Bonhams Fine and Rare Wines Sale in London on Thursday 27 February presents wines from four distinguished private cellars.

Highlights include:

• Six bottles of Domaine Armand Rousseau Clos de la Roche 1999: £2,500-2,800.
• A dozen bottles of Château Margaux 2000: £6,000-7,000.
• A dozen bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild 1996: £6,000-7,000.
• Three bottles of Château d'Yquem 1947 at £1,000-1,200 each.
• One bottle of Romanée-Conti 1996: £8,000-10,000
• Eight bottles of Richebourg 1980 at £2,000-2,500 from a collection bought direct from Domaine Gros Frère & Soeur and also including 1983 & 1987 vintages

The sale also offers a good selection of champagnes including:

• A dozen bottles of Krug 1979: £8,500-9,500.
• Six magnums of Krug 1979: £9,000-10,000.
• Six bottles of Salon 1985: £5,000-6,000.
• Three magnums of Pol Roger, Cuvée Winston Churchill 1988: £1,600-1,800.
