Outstanding Private Collection of DRC leads Spring Fine & Rare Wine Sale

An outstanding private collection of wines from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti leads Bonhams Fine & Rare Wine Sale in London on Thursday 2 May.

The collection, which includes examples of most of the Domaine's vineyards, has impeccable provenance with original invoices from the authorised importer. In total, the collection comprises more than seventy bottles from vintages between 2008-2015 inclusive, offered singly and in multi-bottle lots.

Among the highlights are:

- A six bottle case of La Tâche 2009: estimate £19,000-25,000
- A six bottle case of Richebourg 2009: estimate £11,000-14,000
- Single bottles of Romanée-Conti ranging in estimate from £9,000-10,000 to £12,000-15,000
- Three bottles of Romanée Saint-Vivant 2015: estimate £5,000-6,000

Bonhams Senior International Director of Wine, Master of Wine Richard Harvey said, "This exceptional collection of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti wines has been stored under immaculate conditions and has excellent provenance."

- A half case of Pétrus 1982: estimate £8,000-10,000
- Five bottles of Chateau Haut-Brion Blanc 1996: estimate £1,700-1,800
- A double magnum of Le Pin 2004: estimate £6,000-7,000
- Three bottles of Henri Jayer Vosne-Romanée Cros-Parantoux 1995: estimate £5,500-6,500 per bottle
- A magnum of Pol Roger, Cuvée Winston Churchill 1975: estimate £1,400-1,600
