Introduced in 1995, the 5004 – affectionately nicknamed the 'hamburger' by collectors because of its unusual proportions – represents one of the finest examples of understated haute horology due to its compact dimensions and conservative design. It also holds the distinction of housing the last non-in house Patek Philippe chronograph movement. Considered by many collectors to be the ultimate execution of the chronograph complication from one of the greatest manufacturers, the 5004 has only increased in desirability since the last examples were produced.
