Based in Sandton, Johannesburg, the South African representative offers a free, comprehensive and confidential service by prior arrangement for clients throughout South Africa who wish to buy or sell at any of our international salerooms around the world. Via our extensive international network of specialist departments covering almost 60 categories, auction estimates and advice can be given for all pictures, works of art, jewellery, collectibles and motor cars.

Regular visits to South African are made by specialists, especially from the South African art department in London, where two dedicated South African art sales are held in March and October of each year. Other regular visitors are those from the jewellery department (twice a year), 20th Century British art (annually), as well as Old Master and 19th Century pictures and the Asian departments. Our representative arranges valuation days and house visits as required.

Our South African office undertakes all the shipping of consignments to Bonhams.
