Bonhams 1793 Limited is an employer with more than 250 employees and our UK gender pay gap information at the snapshot date of 5 April 2018 is as follows:

Our mean pay gap is 43.9% and our median pay gap is 38.7%. Our mean bonus gap is 69% and our median bonus gap is 42.9%.

Our gender pay gap disparity continues to reflect the fact that there are more men than women in senior positions in our organization. To address this, we have adopted an action plan that, among other initiatives, implements a structured approach to talent and succession management, encourages more mentoring globally, targets female mentoring and development to increase the number, and raise the profile, of our senior female leaders.

Closing the gender pay gap is about ensuring that we have gender balance across all of our roles. The issue won't be rectified overnight and we know that we have more to do, but we are taking every opportunity to secure better gender balance, particularly at entry and management levels.
