Andrew Huber

Andrew Huber is Senior Specialist, Head of Sale for Post-War & Contemporary Art at Bonhams in New York. He has a broad range of expertise across many periods and categories, including modern and contemporary Latin American art.

Since joining Bonhams in February 2019, Andrew has been a key member of the New York team that has repeatedly set new record sale totals year on year, including playing a crucial role in the record-breaking collection of previously unseen early works by Yayoi Kusama from the collection of the late Dr Teruo Hirose ($15.2 million). Other exceptional sales include the rediscovery of two James Rosenquist Nail paintings from 1973, and Robert Colescott's Hunchback of Notre Dame ($1.4 million). Andrew has also been responsible for building Bonhams Post-War & Contemporary Art mid-season and online platforms.

Before Bonhams, Andrew was Associate Vice President and Head of Fine Art at Christie's in New York. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Management from Boston College, and a Master's degree in Art History from University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Andrew is a frequent guest speaker at arts-related events and is a member of the Board of Advisers for the History of Art and Architecture department at University of Massachusetts Amherst.
