Bonhams Appoints Stefany Morris as Head of Impressionist and Modern Art in New York

New York – Bonhams appoints Stefany Sekara Morris as the Head of Impressionist and Modern Art in the US, based in New York. She joins Bonhams following a record-breaking year of sales for the department in the US. Leading the US team, she will be instrumental in sourcing works and overseeing the departments sales throughout the year.

Stefany has been a specialist in Impressionist, Modern and Contemporary Art for over fifteen years, working with masterpieces of modern art as well as experience working with emerging artists. For nearly ten years, she held the position of Head of Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper sales at Christie's in New York. Most recently, she was the Head of Auctions for the online start-up Paddle8, working with the team to curate and promote over 100 auctions each year.

The Impressionist & Modern Art department's next sale will take place on May 18 in New York and highlights will include Les menottes de cuivre by Magritte (estimate: $500,000 – 700,000) and Composition rythmique, les bleus (estimate: $120,000 – 180,000) by Albert Gleizes.
