The Prints & Multiples departments in London and the United States hold approximately a dozen live and online print auctions a year, focusing on a wide range of artworks from every artistic and historical movement. From Old Master printmakers such as Albrecht Dürer and Rembrandt to works by Modern Masters including Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Marc Chagall, Joan Miró, Henri Matisse and Pablo Picasso's printed works and ceramics. We also offer the greatest names in Post-War and Contemporary art, including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Banksy, Keith Haring, Willem de Kooning, Francis Bacon and David Hockney, among others.

We have a strong history of selling prints by British artists such as Henry Moore, Patrick Caulfield and Laurence Stephen Lowry, as well as linocuts by the Grosvenor School artists. Our department has held numerous auctions dedicated to their linocuts and they remain a strong focus of our sales today.

Always open to trends, we steadily try to create and identify new markets for collectors with dynamic and eclectic tastes at every level. At our Knightsbridge saleroom in London, we mainly focus on Modern British artists and strive to showcase the 'Avant-garde of Printmaking', having set auction records for Contemporary artists such as Harland Miller, Julian Opie, The Connor Brothers, David Shrigley and, more recently, the street artist Bambi.

Highly trained specialists based in London, New York, and Los Angeles are readily accessible with knowledge and expertise to answer any question, and curate your collection to its full potential. With our decades of combined knowledge of print techniques and market trends, we make live auctions, online sales and private treaties seamless and accessible.

With four sales rooms spanning two continents, we offer a diverse range of works and experiences for all. Our classic live auctions and new forays into the online auction world invite everyone to become a part of the Bonhams Prints & Multiples community.
