Bonhams Modern Decorative Art and Design department covers over 150 years of diverse artistic movements and fields of collectability – from the Aesthetics and Arts & Crafts movements of the late 19th century, into the Art Nouveau and Art Deco periods of the early 20th Century, through Mid-Century Modern, up to Post-War Studio Craft and Contemporary Design.

Bonhams has an unrivalled wealth of experience in holding auctions through all of these periods, having pioneered and developed specialist sales for over 30 years, and was the first auction house to hold dedicated sales of Modern Design though our London salerooms.
