The Medal Department handles all aspects of British Campaign and Gallantry Medals from the Battle of Waterloo up to the present campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as World Orders and Decorations.

Recent successes have included medals awarded for the Iranian Embassy Siege in London in 1980 to a Crimean medal awarded to a soldier who was at the Charge of the Light Brigade. In addition, we were privileged to sell the medals of Captain Eric "Winkle" Brown who is regarded as Britain's greatest ever pilot, having flown more types of aircraft and performed more landings on an Aircraft Carrier than anyone else, a record still unmatched.

Over the years we have specialized in WW1 and WW2 medals, with medals relating to famous battles being particularly sought after. WW1 medals relating to the Battle of the Somme, Battle of Cambrai and Battle of Jutland have a strong following, and for WW2 the Battle of Britain, the invasion of France on the 6th June 1944 and the Battle of Arnhem are actively sought after by collectors. More recently, medals for the campaign in the South Atlantic in 1982 are popular. Over the years we have sold a number of medals awarded to members of the Special Forces, which along with Victoria Crosses are the pinnacle for many collectors.
