Modelled by J.J. Kaendler, wearing a pale-brown hat, white ruff collar, gilt-lined grey jacket, iron-red breeches with blue bows and black boots, the base applied with leaves, 20.5cm high (minor restoration)

Bernard Hughes, Dresden "porcelain figures" Country Life Annual, 1950, p. 60, fig. 4); and a third was in the Armand Esders Collection (sold Hotel Drouot, 19-20 July 1941, lot 180 and subsequently at Sotheby's Zürich, 2 December 1981, lot 113).
