The 17cms white enamel Arabic chapter ring frame by a beaded cast bezel, minute track and quarter hours, with distinctive pierced hands, mounted on a waisted brass frame to an oval marble base and ball feet, the visible movement running vertically from the 6 o'clock winding square, the going train with high count pinions and finely cut wheels to the pinwheel escapement, the countwheel strike powered by a remontoir topped up by the continous motion of the centre arbor, the horozontal bell mounted below 43cms (17ins) high
