*Low mileage 308 GT4
*Owned by former F1 mechanic
*Restored example

Introduced in May 1976, the Ferrari 308 GT4 was a ground-breaking model for Ferrari as it was the first Ferrari to be styled by Bertone, and it was also the first to feature a mid-engine V8 layout. This 1976 example is a UK supplied car and comes with an interesting history. On April 8th 1987 it was acquired by Kerry Adams, a well-known New Zealand racing mechanic who came to the UK in the late 1960s and worked for Williams, Brabham and McLaren. The car is currently in an excellent condition, and was previously restored by Adams. The restoration itself is a testament to the quality of his workmanship, with a responsive engine, excellent gear change and suspension that is tight and free from rattles. Since the vendor took ownership in 2014 the car has had two cam belt services, the latter by Bob Houghton Ferrari, who also went through the car thoroughly and fixed a few perished bushes, cleaned the carburettors, and much more. Cosmetically, the car is also in excellent condition, and the vendor has recently had any paint defects corrected. The interior was retrimmed by Kerry and is still presenting well. The wheels were also fitted by the vendor and are genuine Ferrari wheels from a 246 Dino. A cherished example.
