Footnotes

  • Produced between 1966 and 1976 on a ten year production run, the Jensen Interceptor has world renowned reputation for being an elegant yet powerful GT car. This is largely due to its handsome styling and powertrain – a 383 cubic inch (6.3-litre) Chrysler V8.

This 1970 Interceptor is an older, restored example that is presented in silver with cream leather interior and black piping. The mileage is low with just 67,847 miles showing on the odometer. Overall, the car is in good order but it's now starting to show some signs of age. According to the history file it was once owned by the secretary of the Jensen Owners Club (who purchased the car from Appleyards). It is also believed to have been restored prior to his ownership (circa. 2000). The vendor has owned the car since 2017, however the car has not been used in recent years. It is running and driving but following this period of inactivity, recommissioning is recommended prior to returning the car to active use. There is an extensive history file that includes old bills and expired MOTs.
