Footnotes

  • The reference 3525 was produced for a very limited time from 1939-1945. Despite the short production period it holds an important place in the Rolex history being the first chronograph of theirs to be placed in an Oyster case. The well known design behind the Oyster case has led this model to be nicknamed the 'Monoblocco' - implying as the name suggests that the case is made from one piece.
