Comprising a bronze sculpture of a man astride a horse, signed, "Wrangler by R Muno / The National Academy of Western Arts and Sciences / 1970," with a small plaque affixed to the front inscribed, "Western Heritage Wrangler Award / National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Center / Mildred and Edward Lewis, Executive Producers / 'Ishi, the Last of His Tribe' NBC-TV / Outstanding Western Factual Television Program, 1979"; an "Ambassador's Circle / World Jewish Congress" medal on a blue ribbon, honoring commitment to Jewish communities around the world; a "Freedom of Expression Award / Institute of Modern Letters / Edward Lewis / Nov. 8, 2004" medal on a red ribbon; an "Ambassador's Circle / World Jewish Congress" medal on a blue ribbon, honoring commitment to Jewish communities around the world; a bronze medallion with "Christopher Award / Edward Lewis / 1982" to front and "Better to Light One Candle Than to Curse the Darkness" on the reverse; and a second Christopher Award with "Mildred Lewis / 1982" to front. Ishi, the Last of His Tribe (1978) was based on a true story about the only surviving member of an obliterated Native American tribe known as the Yahi. Mildred and Edward Lewis were a married couple who maintained a partnership and produced novels and films together for over 73 years. They died within 3 months of each other, both in their late 90s, in 2019.
