*Left-hand drive
*Said to have had recent restoration work and engine rebuild
*Appealing colour combination

At its 1948 launch the XK120 proved an immense hit, even though many who could afford to buy one couldn't as most were destined for export. Offered here is an export model that retains its left-hand drive configuration, but which is reported to have had a recent restoration and an engine rebuild. Our vendor says the car has excellent bodywork, Dove Grey paint, trim and glass, and that the wheels/tyres are very good. The restored interior has excellent tan seat facings and the carpet, dashboard and door cards, as well as the trim, are very good. The engine has been rebuilt and has a replacement cylinder head – the original, now unserviceable unit comes with the car. Running gear is rated as very good, the gearbox being a five-speed fitted by the previous owner. The electrics are rated as good. Service history is said to be relatively comprehensive and includes receipts and a Heritage certificate.
