The immediate post-war Riley line-up brought relatively sophisticated motoring to those lucky enough to get around the long waiting lists and the RMA encapsulated contemporary ideas of what constituted a compact sporting saloon. This mainly original matching-numbers 1947 model was rebuilt from the ground up with no cost spared (the engine needing little work) in the mid 90's and is said to have very good body and paintwork, with the glass and chrome in commensurate condition and the electrical system described as very good The interior – always a pleasing element of these cars – is said to offer excellent seats and trim, the headlining, original dashboard and door cards being first class. After £2400 of service bills in the last two years, the engine is described as starting first time and running well with gearbox, clutch, suspension and brakes all in good order.
