The compressed ovoid vase set on a slightly splayed foot decorated in polychrome enamels and gilt on a clear, crackled glaze with a continuous scene of women and children in various stages of textile production, the elongated neck painted with two shaped panels containing a thrush in blossoming wisteria, and a landscape with blossoming cherry trees, the surrounding area with chrysanthemum blossoms above a border of barbed lappets painted with various flowers, the foot and mouth decorated with geometric bands and scrolling floral vines, signed on the underside in gilt Yabu Meizan
