  • By the mid-1960s, 50 percent of all Ferrari road cars produced were being built with four seats. Introduced towards the end of 1972, the 365 GT4 2+2 was the biggest and best equipped four-seater Ferrari so far. Flagship of the Maranello range, it reaffirmed Ferrari's determination to compete with the world's finest luxury saloons. Based on the preceding 365 GT 2+2, albeit lower, longer and wider, the newcomer was fitted with a four-cam version of the 4.4-litre V12 engine while retaining its predecessor's mechanical underpinnings. A total of only 524 had been completed by the time production ceased in 1976.

    This fine example was imported from Sweden into Germany and carefully restored in 2016 at Schröder & Langenfeld in Aachen at a cost of €12,734 (invoice available). Works carried out included an engine rebuild; sandblasting and re-sealing the under-body; a complete repaint in original metallic green livery; refurbishing the original and slightly mellowed tan leather interior; and fitting new tyres. Only a nominal mileage has been covered since the restoration's completion and the car is presented in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The car comes with all its Swedish documentation, and an owner's manual, etc in its Ferrari leather wallet.

    Vers le milieu des années 1960, la moitié des Ferrari produites étaient des quatre places. Dévoilée vers la fin de 1972, la 365 GT4 2+2 était la plus grosse et la mieux équipée des quatre places Ferrari à l'époque. Vaisseau amiral de la gamme de Maranello, elle réaffirmait la détermination de Ferrari à se mesurer aux meilleures berlines de luxe du monde. Prenant pour base le modèle précédent, la 365 GT 2+2, la nouvelle venue, plus basse, plus longue et plus large était équipée de la version à quatre arbres à cames en tête du V12 4,4 litres mais reprenait le train roulant de sa devancière. Un total de seulement 524 fut achevé lorsque prit fin la production en 1976.

    Ce bel exemplaire a été importé de Suède en Allemagne et méticuleusement restauré en 2016 chez Schröder & Langenfeld à Aix-la-Chapelle pour un coût de 12 734 € (facture disponible). Les travaux effectués comprennent la réfection du moteur, le sablage et l'étanchéité du soubassement, une peinture complète dans la livrée vert métallisé originale, la rénovation de l'intérieur en cuir fauve original légèrement passé et la monte de pneus neufs. Un kilométrage symbolique a été parcouru depuis l'achèvement de la restauration et la voiture se présente dans un excellent état mécanique et cosmétique. La voiture est vendue avec tous ses papiers suédois et son manuel du propriétaire, etc... dans la petite sacoche Ferrari en cuir.
