Untitled, 2015, is not only a significant work within Richard Prince's oeuvre but is also a seminal piece of music history. Immortalized on the cover of A Tribe Called Quest's most recent album, We Got it from Here . . . Thank You 4 Your Service, 2016, the work marks a dynamic collaboration between music and the visual arts. An example from the artist's Super Group series, the composition consists of record sleeves pasted to the canvas. The use of this everyday material so ingrained within the music industry and pop culture, questions issues of authorship and copyright, while also blurring the lines between 'high' art and 'low' culture.

Prince recalls "Q-Tip asked me if I wanted to do his next album cover. The Tribe hadn't put out an album in 18 years. He pointed to the blank template and asked if I could put a "hippie drawing" on it. I was surprised. A hippie drawing. How did he know? I did the hippie drawings back in 1998. How did he know about the hippie drawings?" (the artist quoted in: Birdtalk, Prince accepted the offer to illustrate the cover of what was to be the group's sixth album and their first in eighteen years. Named one of the best releases that year, the album debuted at number one and was certified gold, with Prince an apparent fan: "Richard can't stop playing it. Continued rotation" (ibid.)
