Auction information

On Saturday October 10, Bonhams is returning to the spectacular environs of the Barber Museum for our third consecutive year. As in the past, the auction will be held in conjunction with the famous Barber Vintage Festival. The Museum is world-renowned, especially for its supreme motorcycle collection and exhibition method. Bonhams has achieved numerous world records during our auction at the Barber Museum, not least the 1970 Husqvarna 400 Cross, owned and ridden by Steve McQueen in the film 'On Any Sunday' that sold for $230,500. We saw a beautiful and rare piece, the 1913 Thor Single, go to a new home for $51,750 last year. Already consigned for 2020 are a superb trio of restored pre-war BMWs: a 1928 R57, 1933 R4 and 1938 R35, each to be sold without reserve.
