The small pale snail slithering across the lightly worm-eaten folded leaf, the veins of the leaf delicately rendered, the horn of variegated colour, with an unsigned sunken rectangular reserve; unsigned. 11.5cm (4½in).

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
27.5% on the first £10,000 of the hammer price;
25% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £10,000 up to and including £450,000;
20% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £450,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.

VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
