Aquamarine Cluster with Muscovite
Pakistan
This beautiful specimen is notably rare. Seldom does one find such a massive number of terminated aquamarine crystals in such a concentrated area much less a total of 58 terminated crystals that are sharp, well-defined and clear. They are imbedded in a cluster of bladed muscovite crystals, a name given to the mineral due to its use in medieval Russia as a cheaper alternative to glass in windows. Weighing 7 pounds (3.18 kg) and measuring 10 x 8 1/2in (25 x 21.3 cm)
