Movement: Rectangular, with divided back plate separating the going and striking trains, platform lever escapement with cut and compensated bimetallic balance and overcoiled spring, striking the hour on a blued wire gong
Dial: Silvered with gilt mask, engraved with flowers and scrolling foliage, roman chapter ring above a calendar panel with days of the week inscribed on a rotating cylinder, blued fleur-de-lys hands
Case: Engraved molded base supporting pierced and engraved canted corner mounts with block finials, the glazed sides fitted with masked panels engraved with flowers and strapwork, engraved scroll handle over glazed top panel with shaped mask to view escapement, numbered 654
Signed: By Garrard and Cole on movement and Garrard on dial
