An Irish Brass-Barrelled Flintlock Blunderbuss
Late 18th/Early 19th Century
With two-stage barrel turned and belled at the muzzle, the breech stamped with Irish registration marks 'L-K 949' for Co. Limerick, plain tang, flat lock (pitted) with roller, figured full stock (fore-end with old split in front of the lock) with later brass plate on the left side of the butt, brass mounts (side-plate probably replaced) including butt-plate stamped with the same registration number, and trigger-guard with acorn finial, and later brass-tipped ramrod, Dublin proof marks
