FIRST EDITION. Devoted to Bell's belief that the arteries play a significant role in propelling the blood through the body. Bell rejects the notion that vivisection is necessary for advancing knowledge. He bases his conclusions on observations he made during operations and in other contexts. Heirs of Hippocrates 1304.
