Footnotes

  • The Skipper Carrera nicknamed the "Skipperera", was the first of the skipper models to be made. Paying homage to and taking colour references from the 1967 America's Cup winner the "Intrepid". It was a very limited production and there are thought to be only very few examples in the market and to date only about 20 are known. A similar example sold recently at Bonham's New Bond St, London for £81,250 on 20th June 2018 - a world record price.
