This Collection comprises of 2,974 individual Swatch watches containing rare and unusual examples along with their original packaging. The collection is primarily focused upon the legendary "Bonello's Swatch Collector Catalogue" and contains superb examples of the iconic creations made by the revolutionary Swiss manufacturer.

This present collection begins in the foundation year of the company in 1983 and ends in 2003.

It includes perhaps the most sought after of all Swatch designs, including Fachhandel Logo, Original Jelly Fish, Olympia Specials, Breakdance, Velvet Underground, Sir and Lady Limelight, Davos Symposium, Bergstrussli, Bonaparte, Pompadour, Mozart, Hollywood Dream, Hocus Pocus, Chandelier, Chronometer set, Folon, Rorrim 5, One more Time by Alfred Hofkunst, Sam Francis, Golden Jelly, Pop Diva, Soupe de Poisson, Bottone and the undoubted pinnacle of the Swatch collectibles, the legendary Fine Art Special created and designed in 1985 by Kiki Picasso (also known as Christian Chpiron) which were made in only 120 varying examples, the complete set of Keith Haring Breakdance models from 1984, and the superb Mimmo Paladino Oigol Oro from 1988 which was limited to just 140 pieces ever made.

All 2,974 watches come with their original boxes and packaging. Additional accessories, associated reference books and collectible literature.

    It is exceptionally rare for any comprehensive Swatch Collection to come to auction, and this present lot represents just the third collection of its type to be offered for sale.

    The private collector who is selling this remarkable group of collecting mania, has painstakingly searched the globe and put together a collection that represents the evolution of this iconic brand name. The brand almost single-handedly brought the whole concept of watch collecting to the masses and on a truly global scale.

    It made available and produced limited editions and collectible special productions that represented social and cultural situations, personalities, artists and world associated events. And all at an affordable price, that made wearing a swatch trendy and in tune with todays fast moving public.
